Simply fill out the Lead Contact Record when you meet a customer prospect. Then file it in tomorrow's daily tab divider. If you do not reach her with that first call, record that on the card, and re-file for the next day. Statistics show that 80% of sales contacts are made in the 5th (or later) attempt to reach a contact! And only 10% of sales people continue all the way to the 5th call. That means 10% of the salespeople are making 80% of the sales! Be persistent and keep track! Sometimes by the 3rd call, it feels like the 20th call. There are 8 spaces available for that very reason.
